This message looks at the prophetic passages that deal with the coming one-world government of the Antichrist. This includes how it will arise, how it relates to the revived Roman Empire, who will lead the one-world government, and how the leader will come to gain control over the kingdoms of the world. The message should touch on current events in the world, such as restriction of personal freedom/personal rights, censorship of opposing views, use of crisis and fear, and the move toward socialism, as well as organizations such as the World Economic Forum and Davos may be how God is working to move the world toward a one united government controlled by small ruling class. 

This message examines the great deception that Satan will bring upon the world once He who restrains is taken away. Paul’s words in 2 Thessalonians are a good starting point, but other texts should be considered, such as Revelation, that speak of the deception Satan will unleash upon mankind and how he will use it to deceive the world into following his man for the End Times, Antichrist and his False Prophet. The deception is part of Satan’s plan to thwart God’s plan and permanently establish his kingdom on earth. Consideration should be given to the methods Satan uses to deceive and control the world into following his one-world government, including miraculous powers, mighty words, economic control (mark of the beast), one-world religion and government, and raising the dead Antichrist back to life. 

This message looks at the rise of the Antichrist and his role in the false trinity. He is more than Satan’s man of perdition; he presents himself as the Messiah, doing great signs, wonders and speaking mighty words. He is visible agent of Satan and his plan to be like God and have his own kingdom. Satan offers the world an alternative to Christ but demands all follow his rule and worship him, replacing all other religions. Antichrist’s appearance is much like Christ at His first coming giving the illusion that he possesses all that is necessary to cure the world. However, he does the will of Satan and not God the Father. He will gain greater prominence in the world as he suffers a fatal wound and resurrects back to life as Christ did, giving the appearance that He is superhuman and no one can stand against him. In the end, he will demonstrate that, unlike the true Christ who sought to save the Jewish people, He seeks to annihilate the Jewish people once and forever. 

This message considers how people who don’t take the mark of the beast will blindly follow Satan and the Antichrist. Having rejected the Creator and His Son, the Messiah, they have their minds closed to God’s truth and will believe the lie, forever forfeiting any possibility of coming to faith in Christ. Initially, as the Tribulation begins, all may come to faith, but as they believe the lie and reject the truth, their hearts will harden like Pharaoh’s, and their eyes will be blinded to God’s truth. This contrasts with those who come to faith during the Tribulation, as many will. They become the Tribulation saints, and multitudes will become martyrs for their faith. The message should conclude with an appeal for the importance of people coming to faith before the End Times and the priority of sharing the gospel with the world! 

This message develops the events on earth that lead to a global false religion during the second half of the Tribulation. It tracks important events, such as the rise of the Beast of the Sea (Antichrist) and the Beast of the earth (False Prophet), the power bestowed upon the False Prophet to deceive the world into worshiping the Antichrist, the fatal wound and resurrection of Antichrist that causes people to believe he is invincible, the erection of the image of the Antichrist in the Temple, the elimination of all other religions, and the False Prophets conscripted worship of Antichrist by all the world. Attention should be given to how Satan will use the global false religion to further his plan to establish an eternal kingdom on earth.
