DAY 1

What are the signs of the last days revealed in the Bible? This message will take a look at the signs God has given us to recognize the last days, asking the questions: what are the signs, how are they used in Scripture, what is their purpose, and what are they designed to teach us?

This message should address the events leading up to and including the rapture of the Church.
Address the questions: What is the timing of the rapture and the impact of the Church’s departure from the world? How should believers live in light of the Rapture’s imminency?
What is God’s purpose in taking the Church out of the world as it relates to the last days?
Other related passages include John 14:1–4; 1 Corinthians 15:51–57; Philippians 3:20; 1
Thessalonians 1:9–10; 4:13–18; Titus 2:11–14; Revelation 3:10.

Both testaments speak of the end of days for Israel when God brings them to a point of repentance and willingness to accept her Messiah. What will the last days of Israel look like that brings them to this point? Note how in the last days, God focuses the world’s attention on Israel through their covenant with the Antichrist and the events of the Tribulation. In the last days of Israel, God will bring Israel into the wilderness and judge her.
DAY 2

Satan is using the nations as his instrument in his rebellion against God. He influences them to hate Israel and seek her annihilation. The nations will face God’s wrath for their rebellion against God and the treatment of the Jewish people. Christ will defeat the armies and remove the unrighteous from the world. Revelation 6—19 and O.T. prophets describe God’s wrath being poured out on the world.

The last days prepare the world for the coming Millennial Kingdom and eventual Eternal State.
This message looks at how the Millennial Kingdom is the final act of God’s last days story. With the final chapter completed, we move on to the Eternal State (Rev. 20—22). Give consideration to why God doesn’t skip directly from Christ’s return to the Eternal State (i.e., Why the Millennial Kingdom?).

World events should be viewed through the lens of Scripture. How do we guard against doing the reverse and entering into speculation? Discuss the dangers of reading the tea leaves of current events into what Scripture teaches about the last days. Give guidelines for how to view current events in light of God’s final program for the ages.
